EASY WHEELER™

TOP TEN MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What is the maximum tire size and weight the Easy Wheeler can support?
We have successfully tested tire sizes up to 200mm. The Easy Wheeler was designed to easily support motorcycles up to 1000 lbs.

2. What is the looped nylon strap used for?
Because of the natural tendency for the front wheel to turn to the left when the bike is leaning on the stand, we include the strap to keep the front wheel straight when using the EASY WHEELER™. It is attached on the right handlebar and the rear foot peg, then tightened until the front wheel is pointing straight ahead.

3. Does the EASY WHEELER™ work on any motorcycle?
The EASY WHEELER™ has been engineered to work on mid-sized to large cruisers and touring type motorcycles. The rollers are not adjustable but are spaced to fit the majority of production motorcycle wheels. This includes Harley Davidson, Indian, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Victory, BMW etc.

4. Can the wheels be rotated in either direction?
The hex drives are threaded specifically to "push" the tire, which means the tire should always be rotated towards the front ramp. This will ensure that the drive roller is always pushing the tire, not pulling it. We have determined through many tests that this is the most efficient method. Remember: (Front Wheel - Forward / Back Wheel –Backward)

5. What are the knurled lines on the rollers for?
The rollers have been knurled to provide traction on the tire surface. This ensures that the roller will not slip when rotating the wheels.

6. How high does the EASY WHEELER™ lift the wheel?
Generally, the average size motorcycle wheel is raised no more than one inch off the floor when resting on the EASY WHEELER™.

7. What if the bike leans too much on the EASY WHEELER™?
At this time, we recommend a small block of wood such as a 6" long 2X4 be placed under the kickstand. We are in the process of developing an adjustable device that will allow you to compensate for excessive lean by placing it under the motorcycle's kickstand and adjusting to the proper height.

8. Do you have to use the hex drive to rotate the wheels?
You should have no trouble moving the front wheel by hand on most bikes. It's just easier using a ratchet wrench and socket. It comes down to weight. Because of large fenders, saddle bags and other obstructions on the back of larger motorcycles, access to pull the rear wheel by hand is restricted. The rear wheel also carries more weight, which adds to the resistance factor. We have found that it is always easier to use a wrench or portable power drill.

9. How do I use a portable drill to rotate the wheel?
Attach a half-inch socket to an appropriate adapter that can be inserted into your portable drill. (A fully charged battery is recommended). You can purchase the adapter at your favorite hardware store. Position the socket on either one of the hex drives and select the proper drill rotation to make the wheel rotate in the recommended direction. (Front Wheel - Forward / Back Wheel –Backward).

10. How long will the EASY WHEELER™ last?
The Easy Wheeler is constructed of the highest quality materials available and requires no maintenance with the exception of simple cleaning. The unit is corrosion resistant and waterproof and will maintain it’s great appearance and functionality for many years to come.
